The PA Breast Cancer Coalition has launched a statewide initiative to encourage all women, beginning at age 40, to schedule screenings that could save their lives. When diagnosed early, the 5-year survival rate for breast cancer is over 90 percent. A missed mammogram could mean a delayed diagnosis of breast cancer.
